The lock picks slide into the solid metal handle and are then secured by a small hex/allen screw (allen wrench included). The large handle helps to ensure a comfortable picking experience. The best part is, should you want to switch up the method of picking just loosen the screw, slide the pick out, and use it without the handle. Easy.
